Hi ya,
The first classes were not that bad. Some of the others were very worried about all the stuff we have to do, especially this weekend. But I know that it's not as bad as it all sounds. This weekend we will be having classes mainly about self reflexion and presentation skills. I already had many self reflexion so I know what is to be expected. Tomorrow will be a looooooooong day, from 9 till 9 we will be at classes, and after that we are expected to meet at the bar :/
Well more tomorrow,
Bye bye,

Snail day
Hi everyone,
Things are going great here. I made some pics yesterday when I went for a short walk, I came across loads of snails, so I guess there was a snail convention somewhere across the road.
Last night there was a disco at the bar here and we had loads of fun, but I did notice British people really can't dance, and they are annoying while drunk as well. But than again these boys are always annoying.
Well enjoy the pics,
SW
A nice view from the road to the animal unit of the college
The first snail I encountered, I like the way the picture turned out
The second snail
And again some flowers

Pics of Writtle College
Enjoy,
Ow to Linda: my classes start at friday :)
SW
The main building.
A flower bed in front of the east side of the main building
Harvey 1, the place where I live, my room is way up.
The englisch garden at the back of harvey building seen from the kitchen window.
For those interested, the layout of the garden is exactly like the Cathedral of Chelmsford (seen in pictures below).

All well
First of all many thanks to all who wish me well.
Everything here is going just fine, I'm currently sitting here at my laptop in front of the window of my room enjoying the blue sky and my view over some trees. The view on the other side of the building is more impressive, as a beautiful garden is situated at that side, but I'll have to do with this for the upcoming months.
The eating habits are weird around here, salads and sandwiches you can eat hot meals twice a day, and deserts as well. But luckily there are various kinds of to choose from.
I hope I'll be able to make some pics of the campus if the weather stays like this.
See ya,

The first pics
Of on yet another journey
Well, as most of you know, I arrived the day before yesterday in the UK. Along with my parents I went shopping in Chelmsford and yesterday they dropped me of at writtle.
The people are nice, though sometimes a bit direct.
Some pics will be up soon,

Leica with native Arabian halter

It's not long now
Hi everyone,
Upcoming Saturday I will be leaving for England. But no worry I will post my adventures (hopefully writtle won't be boring).
Packing my stuff seems to be a bigger problem than when I went to the USA, but the pile in my bedroom is slowly rising.
Since 2 weeks I'm doing a last minute course in horsebackriding. I love it, but I'm glad I didn't learn it earlier, cause after all these years just taking care for horses has made me very experienced with horses themselves. This is something young kids don't learn when they start to ride horses. Starlight, a 25 year old Arabian horse (I'm so lucky) is teaching me how to ride, see the pic below, he is fleabitten like Leica.
Ow and I finally finished yet another native halter for Leica, a nice blue one including leadrope, I copied it mostly from the original design made by the bedouins. Since I finished it today I will be making pictures of Leica with the halter in one of the upcoming days.
